The campgrounds
La plage
Ten campsites, all seaside and only 300 m from the landing dock. Nearby toilets, showers and drinking water. Ration of firewood available for a modest fee.
Les Cèdres
Magnificently located on the northern cliffs of the island overlooking the mountains of Charlevoix, a 1 hr 15 min hike from the landing dock. Eight campsites. Dry toilet and raw water (variable supply).
L’Anse à la Boule
Three campsites in the south central part of the island with a superb view of Ilôt de La Boule (access prohibited), the islands of Pot à l’Eau-de-Vie and the south shore of the river. A 1 hr 15 min hike from the landing dock. Dry toilet and raw water.
Les Bélugas
The most remarkable and challenging site, 12 km from the landing dock (3 hr hike) at Bout-d’en-Haut (western point of the island). Four secluded campsites with dry toilet, raw water, and shelter near sites 3 and 4 only.
