Frigid but fertile waters, remarkable biological diversity, seal haulouts, cliffs swarming with marine birds, and joyful little pods of belugas crossing your path! Come to the St. Lawrence with us! We promise wonderful surprises.

  • All our cruises are guided and educational.
  • Departures for excursions are only available from the marina of Rivière-du-Loup, it is not possible to go on an excursion from Île aux Lièvres (except on rare occasions).
  • Come for the smell of the sea, for an up-close look at unspoiled nature, and most of all for discovery!
Seaward bound

Îles-du-Pot cruise

Cruise around Îles du Pot à l’Eau de Vie (without landing). Highly diverse marine birds (before late July), beautiful scenery, fascinating commentary on maritime history (contraband, mariner’s store, and more). The 2025 calendar wil be posted in May. A minimum of 6 persons is required.

Pot-du-Phare cruise with landing on the island

Spend a few hours away from it all in the middle of the St. Lawrence! Discover the flora, fauna, and surprising maritime history of this little archipelago with your guide. Highly diverse, easily observable marine birds (before the end of July), including a short hike on the lighthouse island. For your own safety, please wear closed-toe, non-slip footwear to access the trails. The 2025 calendar will be posted in May. A minimum of 6 persons is required.

Schedule

The variable tide schedule and problems with sediment dredging in the Rivière-du-Loup marina constrain us to modify the daily departure times for excursions. Check with us to plan your cruise.

Cancellation and refund policy

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance of the sea trip will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of the sea trip will not be refunded.
  • Payments not refunded can be converted into a donation upon request by email and an official receipt will be issued for all donations over $25.
  • Modification made 7 days or less after booking and that does not affect the value of a contract (ex. dates) is accepted with no charge. Otherwise, a $20 fee (plus taxes) is charged.
  • Modification that upgrades the value of a contract (ex. addition of visitors) is accepted without charge depending on availability.
  • Modification that reduces the value of a contract (ex. partial cancellation) is treated according to the cancellation and refund policy.

General terms

  • Gathering fruit is prohibited, except for immediate consumption.
  • Disturbing the wildlife and fishing are prohibited.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Sea kayaking from or around Île aux Lièvres is not allowed.
  • For excursions with a stop on the island, you’ll need closed-toe, non-slip footwear to access the trails.
  • Weather conditions can change rapidly at sea, so please pack accordingly (e.g. raincoat, windbreaker, warm sweater, etc.).
