Abandoned in 1964, 102 years after it was first commissioned, the Pot \u00e0 l&#8217;Eau-de-vie lighthouse was restored by Duvetnor in 1989, turning it into a cozy inn with three attractive rooms furnished in the spirit of the 19th century. It is a classified federal heritage building. Stand watch at the gateway to the continent like the last lighthouse keepers, come spend a day at the lighthouse. The Pot du Phare island is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/environment-climate-change\/services\/national-wildlife-areas\/locations\/iles-estuaire.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00celes de l&#8217;Estuaire National Wildlife Area<\/a>.
